Safeguarding and Security We take our responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of our students with utmost seriousness. All Chaucer College staff are deeply committed to ensuring a safe and supportive environment for every student under our care.

Round-the-Clock Supervision To ensure a high level of security, we provide continuous protection through a dedicated security porter, available 24 hours a day. Our campus is monitored by 24-hour CCTV surveillance system, adding an extra layer of security to keep our students safe at all times.

Enhanced DBS Checks All staff members and host families undergo enhanced police checks, ensuring that every adult in contact with our students meets the highest standards of safety and integrity. 

Group Leader Support Our team play a vital role in providing you with support throughout your entire stay. Therefore we organise meetings every morning with group leaders to ensure that we are continually supporting you, and your students during your stay.

Supervision During Activities Students are always accompanied by staff and group leaders during excursions and activities, maintaining a high supervision ratio of 1 adult to every 15 students. 

Emergency Contact We understand the importance of being prepared for any situation. That’s why we provide emergency contact numbers to all students and group leaders prior to arrival. These numbers are available 24 hours a day, offering peace of mind to both students and their families.
